Spring Rain is my second work of interactive fiction. If you’ve already had a look at Blacklight 1995 then the format will be familiar. However, I’d describe Spring Rain as more of a game than a story: the focus is not so much on unravelling a mystery as it is on simply surviving. Make your choices carefully: each one could be your last.
New Game: Rainbow Bears Fun Maze
Hello! It's been a while since I last posted anything here on dA - for a few years now I've not been particularly active outside of Flash Fiction Month each July- but I figured I'd drop by just for today to let you know about a new game of mine: Rainbow Bears Fun Maze. This is a fun, pleasant game containing absolutely no jumpscares whatsoever. I'll say that again: if you play this game, nothing horrible will pop up on screen at any point. Go ahead! Play it and see.
New Book: Big Shoes To Fill
Another @FlashFictionMonth has come and gone, and as always I have another Flash Fiction Month anthology to show for it. Behold my mastery of the slick, understated promotional video! If you want an ebook you can find those over here, and if you'd like a paperback then you can get those here (or via your local Amazon site if you're outside the UK). I think this year's stories have been particularly good so even if you don't have any of the other ten books forming a fancy double rainbow on your shelf right now, this isn't a bad place to start!
Witness Not the Watcher has a Daily Deviation!
Huge thanks to @SubjugatedSandwich for suggesting it! This wasn't a story I'd already thought up before starting Flash Fiction Month, but it was one that I felt was an idea I could really get behind rather than just one that would qualify as a story for the day. Ultimately I wasn't sure I quite managed to do what I wanted to within the 1,000 words, so this feature is a real boost! It also makes having stayed up until 5am finishing it seem more worthwhile. Before FFM2022 is entirely forgotten, I feel as though it might also be worth mentioning that although it seems a few people appear to have identified the correct door in Heed the Nineteen Hounds - @GDeyke, @SubjugatedSandwich, @WizardandGalaxy, and @squanpie amongst them - I'm not positive anybody's actually grasped the significance of the specific words that led them to it. If you feel like tackling a further challenge, you might try Googling it. ;)
I'm Selling Out!
That's right! You can now get your mitts on literally hundreds of products designed by yours truly, the author of ATTACK OF THE FIFTY FOOT ANUS and other tales of questionable literary merit. Just check out the infomercial below: If you'd like to check out my shop, you can find that here. If you'd like to see the initial announcement over on my blog, that's over here. Want to read the follow-up in which I reveal what the actual, serious, non-Photoshopped items look like in person? This is the link for you, my friend! Also, as I think the lateness of this update on this platform probably demonstrates, I don't keep up with deviantART all that steadily outside of July. If you want to stay abreast of my nonsense for the other eleven months of the year, I highly recommend subscribing to my newsletter. Websites come and go, but email is forever-ish!

I was actually really pleased it turned out to be a metafictional April Fool's joke. Much more interesting than a typical old zombie game!
