Amethyst Drop Bracelet with Earrings

A silver plated bracelet of Half Persian chain with amethyst drop beads. The chain used in the matching earrings is Full Persian.

A couple of people who've seen these "in person" have wondered about how the amethysts are held in place. Although at a glance it looks as though they're just wrapped with wire, they're actually fastened very securely. The wire runs down from the bracelet to a hole near the top of the bead, then spirals up from after coming out the other side (concealing the wire running down to the hole). It's totally impossible for the stones to fall out.

I did have a version of this set made with moonstone, but it was sold before I could take a decent photo.
